Mainly concerns:
- Asbestos remediation of an existing roof;
- Demolition of some buildings on the site;
- Supply and installation of new roof sheeting;
- Renovating the facades of the existing storage hall;
- Installing various new infra (extinguishing pipes, sewers, fences, ports, etc.) on the site.
- Installing 2 loading pits with a total of 4 docks/levelers on the site for loading/unloading trucks.
- Installing a steel cover over one of the loading pits.
- Construction of approximately 19,000m2 of outside paving for outside storage / roadway.

Duration of the work is approximately half a calendar year, possibly longer due to further expansion.
We are looking for a person who can speak English and Italian).

Job title:
- Intermediary “communication” Dutch or English / Italian with our client, local subcontractors and government (municipality etc).
- Several days a week management / superintendent on the construction site.
- Reviewing quotes, reports etc. in the Italian language.
- In short: all activities that make the construction work in a pleasant cooperation and prevent failure costs because of communication misunderstandings Dutch-Italian language.
- Architectural or civil background / knowledge is an advantage, but not insurmountable (if knowledge is less, we will have to take on more energy / support / presence together with the “buddy/interpreter”).

Ideal situation
- A civil engineering background (executor). Construction technical knowledge we supported him/her in and knowledge acquisition during construction.
- On ZZP basis, billing monthly via cost report, man-daysheet.
- To have a weekly fulfillment, fixed rhythm and point of contact....
- Also periodic joint construction site visit from us with him.
- Various activities he also did at home via computer. Think administration, consultation subcontractors, etc.
- Drawing with AutoCAD is an advantage and he was able to support us in this.
- Weekly update consultations via Teams (in addition to the various phone calls and e-mails “in between”).
